If you have a car that isn't in the best condition and you're unsure of what to do with it, you may want to donate it to a trade school. These types of schools provide education for an individual who is seeking to learn a certain trade. In fact, your car could be used in an auto mechanic program to enable students to work on it. The good news for you is that there are many benefits to being so generous with your vehicle, and knowing what these are can motivate you to get started on this process.
Benefit #1: Avoid costly repairs
One of the reasons you may want to get rid of this vehicle is to avoid the huge expense of getting it fixed. The motor could be out and need replacing, or other major components of the car may need repair.
When you donate your car to a trade school, you won't have to spend money on it, and you'll be able to get rid of it at the same time. Additionally, you won't need to keep auto insurance coverage on it either, and this is yet another savings.
Benefit #2: Avoid towing costs
If your car can't be driven due to the need of an expensive repair and you want to get it out of your garage, you may need to have it towed. However, this is yet another cost to you and this could be the reason you continue to let it sit.
However, by agreeing to donate your vehicle, this may encourage the recipient to pay these fees for you. This is an ideal way to get rid of the car and free up more space in your yard or garage.
Benefit #3: Tax deductions
When it comes time to pay your taxes, you're probably looking for ways to pay less. By having a variety of tax deductions, this will allow you to do so.
The good news is you can deduct the value of your car from your gross income. Donations of any type usually qualify as a tax deduction and this could be a substantial one for you.
The benefits of donating your vehicle to a trade school are many for both you and this educational facility. Be sure to make the proper arrangements with this facility to make this generous donation and have your car picked up in the process today.

I have never been a great book-learner, which is why I decided to see about going to trade school instead of traditional college. I wanted to get right into a career, instead of taking years of meaningless classes along the way. As soon as I enrolled, I could tell that I had made the right decision. My classes were interesting, fun, and they taught me a lot. I actually think that I learned more in my first semester of trade school than I did in a year's worth of traditional school--largely in part because the subject was interesting to me. I made this blog to help other people learn more about the benefits of trade school.
